Celebrate New Orleans’ 300th Anniversary at the iconic Brennan’s restaurant with owners Ralph Brennan, Terry White, and James Beard Finalist “Best Chef: South” Slade Rushing, through a gastronomical exploration of James Beard’s 1978 visit to New Orleans.
The five-course dinner, paired with original New Orleans libations and boutique wines, will honor those storied dishes that the legendary culinarian once savored during his visit to the Crescent City – from Bananas a L’Archestrate to Crayfish a la Bordelaise. James Beard went on to become a significant influence on the city, particularly this legendary establishment on Royal Street that celebrates innovative Creole cuisine.
Brennan’s is excited to welcome 75 guests to this exclusive event that honors those who have contributed to the culinary landscape of New Orleans. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the James Beard Foundation.
