Special Champagne and Sparkling Wines add a Blissful Surprise for Happy Hour
There is only one pink (or should we say rosé) building in the French Quarter – Brennan’s. Starting this Friday, April 10, the celebratory establishment will be popping off the “Bubbles at Brennan’s” happy hour by pouring delicious select bubbles from both top Champagne vintners and premiere sparkling wine houses at the fizziest hours of the day: from 2-7pm on Tuesdays-Fridays.
The celebratory social libation will be served both on its own in its perfect form and in festive and effervescent cocktails to enjoy at Royal Street’s foremost place to see and be seen. Partake in a toast (or two) in the stylish Roost Bar, during sunset in the foliage filled courtyard, or at a leisurely lunch on Fridays in the decorative dining room. Expertly chosen selections allow guests to tantalize their taste buds while exploring savory surprises from executive chef Slade Rushing (a 2015 James Beard Award Finalist) such as Tuna Tartare with Pickled Green Strawberries; Crispy Creole Spiced Black Eyed Peas; and Kenebec Potato Chips with Paddlefish Caviar and Chive Crème Fraîche.
Fridays offer added bliss as “Bubbles at Brennan’s” begins at 8am breakfast followed by the ceremonial occasion of Champagne sabering at 5 o’clock, calling a festive start to the weekend.
